We may collect and process all or some of the following information about you, which you may provide directly when you use Quokkie:

We do not screen for Personal Information; to the extent you have included any such information in your submissions, it will be stored and disclosed in the course of our general use of such information.

Usage Information and Cookies

Usage Information

As with most mobile applications, when you access Quokkie, our servers automatically collect the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address and MAC address associated with your device browser. We may also collect additional information such as the site you visited before downloading Quokkie, your device ID, advertising ID, time spent in Quokkie and the pages you viewed in the app, your browser type and version, the model of your device and the operating system, language, country, and your user ID if you have an account with Quokkie. We may also collect your HTTP header, including country and app version. This information is logged to help us provide Quokkie in the local language, to diagnose technical problems, measure advertising performance, send you push notifications when you have opted in to receive them, and to administer Quokkie. We also analyze the information for aggregate trends about how Quokkie is used, and to help us improve Quokkie.

Third Party Tracking Technologies:

We use third-party service providers to assist us in collecting and understanding Usage Information. These providers use identifiers for mobile devices (including Android Advertising ID and Advertising Identifier for iOS), cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies. A cookie is a small data file sent from a website or application and stored on your browser. Cookies allow us to recognize your browser when you return to our website, and to remember your preferences. Cookies also allow us to authenticate you as a user, serve certain features, to better understand how you interact with Quokkie, to improve your experience, and to monitor and analyze aggregated usage. Most browsers can be set to detect browser cookies and to let you reject them, but refusing cookies may make it difficult to use Quokkie. To learn more about browser cookies, including how to manage or delete them, refer to the Tools, Help or similar section of your web browser or mobile device.

On Quokkie, we serve advertisements and offers that we believe may be of interest to you based on your searches on Quokkie. In addition, when you use the Internet, unaffiliated third parties such as ad networks, web analytics companies and social networking platforms may collect information about your online activities over time and across our and other websites. This information may be used to provide advertisements for products and services that may interest you, and those companies may use cookies, clear GIFs and other tracking technologies. We do not track your activity across different websites or online services. However, if you choose to engage with an offer from one of our partners, we may send them a token so that they may attribute their web traffic to Quokkie.

As with most sites, we do not honor “do not track” signals transmitted by web browsers as there is no industry standard for implementing such programs. For more information about third-party advertisers and how to prevent them from using your information, visit the NAI’s consumer website at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices or http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. If you do want to opt out using these tools, you need to opt out separately for each of your devices and for each web browser (such as Chrome, Edge Firefox, Safari or others) that you use on each device.
